Times editor to leave paper

The editor of the Los Angeles Times will leave the paper in a dispute over newsroom cuts, becoming the fourth senior executive in less than three years to depart after resisting budget reductions.

James E. O'Shea, editor since November 2006, said Sunday that he was forced out after disagreeing with Times Publisher David D. Hiller's plan to shrink the newsroom budget.

"We did not share a common vision for the future of the L.A. Times," O'Shea said.

Changing Skyline: Thanks - but no thanks

But instead, the city told the young developers it was committed to preserving their junk-strewn, half-acre lots in the event an industrial user came along. "You get the feeling," Nebel later grumbled to me, "that cities are the worst redliners." The surprise here isn't that Philadelphia believes it should set aside land for industry. Even though we're deep into the post-manufacturing age, every city needs places where fabricators, warehouses, truck depots, junkyards and other messy enterprises can feel at ease. But this enclave claimed by the Kensington South Neighborhood Advisory Council is a place that abounds with vacant tracts. You can hardly walk a couple of blocks without bumping into one of the great redbrick relics of Philadelphia's industrial heyday, like the Rieger & Gretz brewery on Germantown Avenue.

ARE THE CLINTONS LIARS? - Fact check #1

It seems that the Clintons want to play dirty so let's get down in the mire with them.

They accused Obama of having a SLUM LORD as a client. Well, again, that is a total LIE. For confirmation of the lie, go to the following link, please:

This is only one response to this particular accusation. There are plenty more online.

Once again, my friends, read, read, and read some more about the Clintons. They have a spicy and quite interesting past and I can't believe they are trying to find something in Obama's past that could possibly equal theirs.

By their accusations, they have opened the way to investigate their past in return. Oops, that might have been a mistake on their part, don't you think? With a past like theirs, I wouldn't even mention the word past in any of my comments if I were them!

But, the Clintons get so mean when they're angry, they just want to strike back and hurt.
